Charles University, founded in 1347 by Emperor Charles IV, is the oldest university in Central Europe. It is a leading research institution offering programs in medicine, natural sciences, humanities, social sciences, law, and education, taught in Czech and English.

Admission
International applicants submit a high school diploma with nostrification, language certification (B2 for Czech programs, TOEFL/IELTS for English programs), and faculty-specific entrance exams if required.
